Amidst the heaping mound of ‘best of 2015’ noise on the internet right now, I found myself caught up and captivated by the collection of ‘Best Press Photos of The Year 2015’ posted on Design You Trust. Some are humorous while some are sad or even disturbing. Looking at the whole, it makes me so appreciative of the comparatively trouble-free world we live in here on our little patch of earth.
I spent the Labor Day holiday weekend in Boulder, CO where my girlfriend and I hit several of the local hiking trails. Can’t seem to get enough Colorado. What an amazing place.
Sharing some pics from a recent motorbike trip to the Telluride area of Colorado. A mix of Triumph, KTM, BMW and Honda dual-sport bikes carried our group of seven over 2,500 paved miles and then dozens more on dirt, mud and rock-filled mountain trails. Too much fun with a great group of guys. Looking forward to our next adventure.
Sharing a few pics from a recent trip to the Seattle. I wasn’t there long but managed to squeeze in some time to visit Olympic National Park. I can’t possibly put into words just how beautiful it is and am determined to go back some day soon to explore more of the area.
I recently traveled to Costa Rica, rented a car and toured a big loop that took us from the interior to the Pacific coast and back. The country—especially the forest—is a place of indescribable beauty and friendly people. I took these shots on our drive down from the Poás Volcano crater. We were coming down the mountain and suddenly found ourselves enveloped in a thick, dense fog. I couldn’t resist pulling over to get some shots.
Sharing some long exposure shots I took at last year's Lonestar Rod & Kustom Round Up. I just love the way these turned out and would have taken dozens more if my camera battery hadn't died. Taken with a Canon Rebel T2i.
